The Renovation Exhibition is organized at the International Exhibition Center of Crete (IECC) in Heraklion
The International Exhibition Center of Crete is one of the most modern exhibition venues in Greece, featuring 3,200 sq.m. of net exhibition space and 4 halls. It offers a complete telephone network and internet connectivity. In addition, spacious free parking is available for visitors and exhibitors.
It is located at the former Gournes Base in Gouves, Heraklion, Crete (Postal Code 71500), approximately 16 km east of the city of Heraklion and around 15 km east of Heraklion Airport. The venue is easily accessible both by bus and by car.
Ways to Access the IECC
Access by CAR: From the New National Road, follow the exit towards the Gouves area and turn left at the junction to Gournes, where you will almost immediately see the former Gournes Base on the right-hand side of the road. From the Old National Road of Heraklion, passing through the areas of Karteros and Kokkini Hani, continue towards Gournes and the former Gournes Base, which is located on the left-hand side after the Gournes settlement.
Access by BUS: From the central KTEL station at the Port of Heraklion, buses depart daily approximately every 30 minutes to Gouves, Agios Nikolaos, Ierapetra, and Sitia, making a stop at Gournes Heraklion, directly outside the gate of the former Gournes Base. From Heraklion Airport, KTEL buses to Agios Nikolaos, Ierapetra, and Sitia pass approximately every hour and also stop at Gournes Heraklion, outside the gate of the former Gournes Base.
Access by AIRPLANE: Heraklion International Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” is located 15 km from the International Exhibition Center of Crete. The journey by taxi takes approximately 13 minutes via the Northern Road Axis of Crete.
